Good treatment
takes time
All appointments are 45 minutes. This gives us enough time to assess properly and treat thoroughly — not just manage a symptom and move on.
Whether it is your first visit or a follow-up, the format is the same: time for a proper history, time to understand what is actually going on, and time to treat without watching the clock.
Fees
All fees are GST-inclusive.
ACC funding. I am an ACC-accredited service provider, so I can lodge a claim for you or use an existing claim. ACC compensates for a portion of your treatment cost. This applies when you have had an accident in New Zealand within the past year. No doctor's referral required. Not sure whether you are eligible? Get in touch and I will help you work it out.
If you hold a Southern Cross health insurance policy that includes osteopathy, EasyClaim is available in the clinic.
Important pre-appointment
registration and arrival info
- New patients: please complete the online intake form sent with your confirmation email before you arrive. Filling it out on arrival takes away from your treatment time — and 45 minutes goes faster than you think.
- Bring — or email ahead — any referrals, ACC documentation, imaging, or surgical notes that may be relevant.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing — or plan to undress to your underwear for assessment. A back-fastening bra is preferable to a sports bra: it allows easier access to your spine, and for scar treatment, to the skin around the scar. Avoid denim or thick, restrictive fabrics. You are welcome to arrive in your regular clothes and change at the clinic.
- Queenstown traffic is its own entity. Please allow ample time for travel and parking.
- If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time — out of fairness to the next patient.
Cancellation
policy
Life happens — I completely understand. All I ask is enough notice to offer the time to someone else who needs it.
Late cancellation fees are waived if the appointment slot is filled. If you are running late — the Queenstown traffic situation being what it is — please let me know as soon as possible. Your session will still end at the scheduled time to avoid delays for the next patient.
